Here's the meat roulade, though! 2/3 gone by this point... Had a 1.2 kg slab of a turkey breast, and sliced it appropriately to create a 12"x10" rectangle. I made a stuffing of mostly spinach (wanted to have an onion mix inside, but found out this morning was out completely!) But sauteed a huge bag of spinach with the same rosemarry grapeseed oil, then mixed that with some diced yellow bell pepper, garlic, and seasonings. Rolled it up and cooked at fairly low temps for 2 hours, then a quick 10 min high-heat to brown the outside.
Here was dessert: my preferred version of a black forrest cake. John likes these a lot, and I had one in a skii restort this winter, and didn't like it very much. I like mine a lot better--fliuffier cake slices of a chocoalte sponge cake (egg-based, no flour), and a cream with mascarpone and milk whipped up with amaretto liquor flavoring. A must to be served with fresh fruit in my opinion!
It was really good.... cake diminished in size very fast... here's Jojo deciding the last slice is his. hahaha just kidding. He and Robi ate most of the whole cake though, and 1/4 in my grateful stomach.

... so...now......... what's for dinner?
